The AK-47 Legion of Anubis is one of the most visually striking Covert weapon skins available in Counter-Strike 2. Released as part of The Fracture Collection, this skin features detailed artwork depicting ancient Egyptian deities like Anubis and Ra. Understanding how to obtain, inspect, and evaluate this skin helps players make informed decisions for their loadouts.
Design and Visual Appeal
Designed by community creator apel8, the Legion of Anubis blends gold, turquoise, and dark accents across the rifle body. The primary body showcases the god of the dead alongside the sun god Ra, symbolizing life and death. Its intricate artwork makes it a popular option for players who enjoy high-detail fantasy skins.
Unlike many skins that show heavy scratches, the AK-47 Legion of Anubis primarily wears by darkening as its float value increases. Higher wear levels cause the paint on the magazine and barrel to gradually fade while keeping the main illustration readable. This property keeps the skin looking relatively clean even in Field-Tested and Well-Worn conditions.
Acquisition and Rarity
As a Covert tier item, the skin is among the rarest standard drops from the Fracture Case. Players can acquire it directly through case openings, though the drop chance is roughly 0.32 percent. Alternatively, players can craft the weapon using trade-up contracts involving ten Classified skins from the same collection.
For those looking for a direct purchase, the Steam Community Market and various third-party platforms host regular listings. StatTrak versions are also available for players who prefer to track their in-game kills. Because of its broad market availability, finding a preferred float value is relatively straightforward.
Market Value and Value Factors
Prices for the AK-47 Legion of Anubis fluctuate based on exterior condition, ranging from Factory New down to Battle-Scarred. Factory New variants carry a premium price due to their brighter colors and minimal wear. Field-Tested versions often offer the best balance between price and visual quality.
Special features like low float values or StatTrak counters can increase the overall value on secondary markets. Collector interest remains high due to its status as an accessible Covert skin for the game's primary assault rifle. Watching price trends across multiple marketplaces can help buyers secure a good deal.
Sticker Crafts and Personalization
The dark and gold color palette of the Legion of Anubis creates excellent opportunities for custom sticker combinations. Gold tournament stickers and Egyptian-themed autographs complement the detailed graphics without obscuring the core artwork. Strategic sticker placement allows players to enhance the design while maintaining its thematic balance.
Whether used as a play skin or added to a growing inventory, the AK-47 Legion of Anubis stands out as a timeless CS2 skin. Its rich mythology-inspired design ensures it remains a favorite among casual players and collectors alike.
